Looked good in the bag but once I started spreading it on the garden it became obvious that the bulk was made from chipped wood with a lot of laminate. Also found a lot of scalpings/ gravel and not much sign of manure or organic materials. Not impressed & wouldn't buy again.

Well, what a product. It arrived very securely packaged on a pallet with shrink wrap and plastic sheet cover. The bulk bag was filled to bursting point so very good value for money. The compost was very rich smelling and well rotted. Recommend highly.

A Good Product, just a slight aroma, like bags of multi purpose compost.
I Have found some rather odd things in it, like big bits of glass and ev Even half a brick.?? So best to wear gloves when handling it to avoid cuts. It also still has quite a few nuggets in it of horse waste, but much better than trying to use fresh compost.
Overall very pleased with my purchase, and I’m hoping my Bamboo will grow big and strong with the addition of this great compost.

Delivered on day that was requested, driver phoned 15 minutes before delivery. Both bulk bags received in good condition on pallets which were put on drive exactly where I asked. The product looks good and I'm sure will improve my heavy clay soil and feed my raised beds.

I had 45 bags of compost, they were well packaged and having spread the compost on the garden I can see it is excellent quality. The only issue I had was with pallet ways who delivery company. When I placed my order I choose a day for the delivery when I knew I would be at home all day. On the day pallet ways send an e mail telling me the delivery would be the following day. When I tried to track the delivery on the following day it showed still in the depot. I did contact Rupert at CPA and he was very helpful in sorting out the delivery.

After a few delivery hiccups, the last being a delivery driver taking the load of mixed farmyard and mushroom,back to reload it on a smaller truck to get it nearer to my plot, I opened the first bag with trepidation. Saw it, felt it, sniffed it! First impressions are wonderful. It's now spread over my allotment (lovely and crumbly, very easy ). Can't wait to get growing in it. Thank you very much.

Great service and very fast delivery, even though I had written that there was a turning circle at the top of the lane the driver reversed all the way up. Great driving. The pallet was placed exactly where I wanted it, out of the way of cars entering and leaving the drive. The Farmyard manure/mushroom compost is already looking good on out flower beds So much better than buying a couple of bags from the garden centre.

Order arrived this morning and the delivery driver was extremely helpful in unloading the pallet as close as possible to the entrance of my sloping driveway.
Only mild criticism was it would have been really helpful if an approximate time of delivery could have been given.

20no 60 litre bags arrived today as scheduled via helpful and very friendly delivery driver. Ordered for no dig vegetable plot as didn’t want to use the slightly cheaper B&Q general purpose compost again; as although ok this year didn’t want to risk possible contamination from aminopyralid weed killers from this green waste based product. Hopefully based on mushroom and farmyard manure this new compost will be uncontaminated. Spread one bag immediately ready for planting seedlings and first impressions very positive. Slight aroma and some residual heat, but relatively fine and absorbs water markedly better than the old B&Q general purpose compost on the rest of the plot.

Another pallet load of 45 bags mushroom compost delivered this morning. All moved from home to the allotment. Vegetables loved the last load in April so hope this is just as good. Order arrived as promised, easily tracked and driver called me 10 mins before he was due to arrive. I live in a the end of a cul-de-sac so it is always difficult for larger delivery vehicles but driver was brilliant (same one as last time!)

A very positive customer experience, the delivery of 36 bags of compost arrived at the time stated, the driver placed the consignment exactly where it was required. I'd be comfortable ordering from CPA again. Too early to judge the product quality but if the smell's anything to go by it should fine.

I ordered 45 x 60 l bags for 2 new beds on my recently acquired allotment. Product looks great but I suppose only time will tell if the veg like it! The delivery was delayed by a technical issue but I was kept informed by CPA. Delivery diver was brilliant, very helpful and left the pallet right where I asked. I had to have the product delivered to home as there is no vehicle access anywhere near the allotment and then took 5 trips in the car. Cold beer now I think!

A great product. I received a pallet of compost last year and I have just ordered another for this year. I have a new garden without much soil but plenty of builders rubbish but digging this in has made a real difference and my plants and vegetables responded well. I can thoroughly recommend the compost mix.

Excellent customer service in St Clears office and the delivery driver was helpful, although no contact prior to delivery this wasn't an issue as luckily the order arrived before I left for work. I ordered shroom compost and manure, having emptied half the bags on my garden beds I am disappointed with the amount of white paint fragments and white paint on rotted wood contained within the bags now covering the surface of the beds giving them a speckled appearance. The growing season will hopefully be more positive.

The lorry broke down and so we had to wait until next day but this didn't really matter of course. A friendly driver.
However, the bags looked too small for a 60 litre content. They were the same size as the 40 litre bags I bought from our local garden centre.

Please would you ask Palletways who sub-contract locally to speak with one of their agents, Kay Transport, tostop them sending a young lady out to offload the tonne pallets? She's a lovely girl and never complains but such a heavy load really does require a burly chap.

Heaven help you if you live anywhere that is not on a main trunk road. We waiting over 3 weeks for delivery and then Rupert at CPA could not find out where our order was...it was scanned into the Palletways system but he didn't know where. After 2 days of phone calls ...where Rupert NEVER phoned me back...I found the delivery at a local Palletways depot. But they couldn't deliver it as they had no one to drive their 7.5 tonne vehicle. So I went to collect it...so that we actually got the compost before the end of the growing season

Initial delay (due to be a few days) due to poor weather. After this, was repeatedly told it would be 'dispatched today'. After daily calls, arrived 2 weeks after initially scheduled date. Was given partial refund which we were grateful for. Ordered a full 45 bag pallet. The first ~8 bags were very good, the same as we received last year - good texture and easy to spread. The remaining bags were very dense - large clumps and difficult to spread. Disappointing as the previous pallet last year were all perfect. Taking out the delivery issues, purely based on the product, not sure I would use again due to it being SO clump and stodgy.

Good price and communication and lovely product. Only problem was with the delivery; pallet got stuck on the driveway which meant I had to manually unload a lot of bags ! Driver tried to sort out the problem but to no avail, next time I will give clear instructions as to where and how the pallet needs to be dropped.

Product looks to be good stuff with only a couple of bits of stray plastic in each bag. Order arrived 4 days late although was despatched on time by CPA. Pallet had seen better days and couldn't support the weight so the haulier had to put it onto a second pallet.

Delivery date as specified. Driver very polite and helpful. Compost looks and smells good and already spread. The odd bit of waste (plastic and hessian fragments etc) as you'd expect, but only half a dozen over 36 x 70 litre bags so not an issue. Very pleased and will certainly order again.
